Abington Friends School

About the Program: Middle School Boys Soccer is a fall sport at Abington Friends School that is open to any interested student in 5th through 8th grades. AFS offers two levels of boys soccer in the middle school: an A team for older and more experienced players and a B team for younger and less experienced players. The B team plays approximately 6-8 matches per season against other middle school teams that are usually comprised of 6th & 7th graders though participation on AFS’s Middle School Boys Soccer B Team is not limited to students in those grades. Upon occasion, players may participate in both A and B level games in the same season if coaches determine it is appropriate. Individual skill development and an introduction to rudimentary team concepts are hallmarks of Middle School Boys B Soccer at AFS. Both A and B teams meet 4 times each week from 3:10-4:30pm from mid-September through the end of October.
