Welcome to our school!
We are a vibrant, joyful, and ambitious Quaker school for students age 3 through Grade 12. Our Quaker foundation helps inspire us to see children, and each other, wholly. We see children for who they are and who they may become and we believe in the distinctive and unique promise that each child holds. Our students fully immerse themselves in academics, athletics, and the arts. At AFS, we prepare our students for outstanding college careers, but we also help them to envision their places in the world and to create a life of purpose while they are with us, and long after they leave us.
Take the Next Steps!

“AFS has been a perfect, incredible experience for all three of my children. My first two are now in college and both are thriving. They got a great academic preparation for college, but also learned self-sufficiency, leadership, perseverance, and confidence. These and other qualities were fostered in this amazing place, and I am forever grateful for the experience we all, as a family, have had as a part of this school community.”
– Angela, Current Parent and Parent of two Alumni
“AFS has been a fantastic setting for our daughter. She has grown from a socially anxious child into a confident high school student. She has particularly enjoyed the opportunities to express her creativity through the outstanding theater and arts programs.”
– Meta, Current Parent
“My kids are new to AFS this year and we’ve seen so much growth in them already. They’re excited to go to school and come home talking about all the fun ways that they learn during the day. It was amazing to witness how quickly the teachers were able to get to know them and we really appreciate the care and commitment they showed in getting them adjusted to the school.”
– Ronald, Current Parent
