Middle School Softball wrapped up their season on Monday with their inaugural “Anything But a Glove & Bat Game” that saw over thirty Roos’ softballers, their family members and coaches Brian Schiff and Tami Montroy play an intrasquad softball game with a unique set of rules. In the contest, all participants were required to hit and field using anything except a standard softball bat and glove. As the pictures from the afternoon confirm, brooms, shovels, lacrosse sticks, ping pong paddles, baskets, bike helmets and a frying pan can be employed in a pinch next time your softball equipment goes missing. A fun time was had by all.
