AFS now has three 3D printers, giving students plenty of opportunities to think and design creatively.

Students are excited to be making something tangible, while teachers are impressed with how empowered they have become in developing projects and working through problems and glitches.

As well as making gears, flywheels and spinning tops, the students have been particularly proud of such one-off projects as Star Wars’ Hans Solo frozen in carbonite.
