Justin has been a part of the AFS community since 2009. He has been a professional singer-songwriter and recording artist for over 20 years, performing at venues such as Godfrey Daniels, Musikfest, and the Philadelphia Folk Factory. His most recent solo album, Long Time No See, was released in 2021 and is available on all streaming services. He has taught math, vocal music, instrumental music, and theatre (in varying combinations) to middle and upper school students since 1996.
Justin’s favorite part about working in the AFS community:“At AFS, it feels like we’re all on the same side, working together as a team. Teachers, parents, and administrators all have the same goal of helping students be the best ‘selves’ they can be.”
What Justin finds meaningful in his profession: “Music-making is both an intellectual and a spiritual joy for me. I love that I have a role in helping young people to discover and experience that joy.”
