This past Tuesday, eighth grade students had the opportunity to enter the ‘Roo Tank’ to pitch their ideas for improvements to the Middle School. Guest "Roos", King of Roo-VC Mark Smith, tech mogul Julie Morrissey, and Dr. Wonderful herself Nicole Hood heard the entrepreneurs voice their suggestions, which ranged from alternative methods for displaying ID cards to a proposal for a Middle School Student Council, and then grilled them on their implications.

One popular idea focused on creating and stocking a recess equipment storage container for Middle School, allowing all students to access sports equipment without needing to bring their own from home or take up space in other school storage areas. The Roos were intrigued by the proposals. Nevertheless, they declined to bid on any one idea, instead sending the presenters back to the drawing board to further refine their pitches.
