Abington Friends School Names Amy Bosio as New Chief Financial and Operations Officer

Abington Friends School is pleased to share that Amy Bosio will be stepping into the role of Chief Financial & Operations Officer following the retirement of Martha Scache.

Amy brings more than 20 years of financial and operational leadership in higher education and nonprofit institutions, including senior leadership roles at Immaculata University, Rowan University, Drexel University, and Saint Joseph’s University.

Upon her appointment, Amy wrote: “I’m excited to join the Abington Friends School community as it carries its educational mission forward into a fourth century. The Quaker values at the heart of the school—integrity, inclusion, and respect for every individual—along with the strong community they foster, are what drew me to AFS. I’m grateful for the opportunity to work with Head of School Nicole Hood and look forward to partnering with faculty, staff, and families to support the mission and to build upon the school’s strong foundation."

We are deeply grateful to Martha Scache for her exceptional leadership and her continued support as we plan a smooth transition. Amy’s tenure will begin on June 1, 2026.
