Home & School Association

The Home & School Association (H&S) is how families at AFS connect, contribute and lead together. Every parent and primary caregiver of an AFS student is automatically a member of the Home & School Association (H&S), which supports students, teachers, and the entire AFS community!

Fostering Connection

H&S keeps families connected with each other and with the School. Through AFS Connects, we share information about events, opportunities, and community life, while also serving as a liaison between families and School leadership.

 

Supporting Community

From lending a hand at school events to providing resources for teachers and students, H&S organizes volunteers whose time, talents, and energy enrich life at AFS. Whether you bring a dish, staff a table, or help behind the scenes, your contribution makes a difference.

Leading & Sustaining

H&S Clerks provide leadership in organizing events, welcoming new families, and nurturing a culture of giving. Supporting AFS financially—through participation in fundraising efforts and the Fund for AFS—is one of the most important ways parents help ensure the School’s strength for today and the future.
