Rich Nourie, Head of School Mikael Yisrael, Director of Diversity and Inclusion Bridget Warlea ’15 and Morgan Burrell ’15 invite all to a Community Meeting for Worship
Wednesday, June 10 at 6 p.m.
The purpose of this Meeting for Worship is to reflect as a community with collective purpose and pay respect to the victims of police brutality. In this sacred space, we want to bring awareness to the effects of systemic racism while providing healing to those who do not have a safe environment to reflect on their feelings. After the Meeting for Worship, we will provide a few recommendations on how you can contribute to the movement through your own action. We would like everyone to remember this issue is bigger that one specific group, it affects every single one of us, which is why we must come together in unity for healing. As MLK once said, “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality.”
