Biography

Elizabeth has been a part of the AFS community since 2021. Prior to medical school, she worked in public policy and also as a legal assistant at a nonprofit providing services for low income immigrants and refugees. The last several years she has been attending medical school and completing a masters in public health at the University of Pennsylvania. She worked briefly as a family medicine resident before deciding she wanted to reapply to residency training in psychiatry. Elizabeth feels very lucky she could fit this one year position at AFS into that plan.

Elizabeth’s favorite part about working in the AFS community: I love that I get to work at an institution so grounded in Quaker values and community.”
