The AFS Middle School fall athletics season wrapped up in true Roo fashion, highlighted by teamwork, growth, and standout performances across every sport. Cross-Country runners capped their season at the GFS Invitational with 27 personal bests and an impressive 8th place team finish, while the Boys B Soccer team rallied to defeat Barrack 2–1, ending their season with a 5–1 record. Earlier in the week, Girls Soccer earned a commanding 7–0 win, Boys A Soccer battled hard in a 5–3 finale, and Fall Tennis closed their season with a 4–1 victory. The winter season now kicks off, with basketball, wrestling, swimming, and indoor track teams ready to take the field, court, and pool.

The fall season of AFS Athletics has almost reached its conclusion with only a couple of weather-rescheduled Middle School soccer games left on next week’s slate before the focus turns to the winter season.

AFS Middle School Boys Soccer and MS Girls Soccer continued a recent tradition by combining members from both of their teams into one squad to take part in the annual Quaker Classic Tournament.

The fall season of AFS Athletics enters its home stretch in late October with all 15 middle and upper school teams in action in the recent past. Read on for some of the highlights from several of those teams.
