Brooklyn Singer-Songwriter to Perform Marshall Concert on Friday

Now in its 27th year, the Marshall Concert on Friday, March 10, will feature a performance by Brooklyn singer-songwriter Jean Rohe and her band, the End of the World Show. The concert series, made possible through the generosity of the Marshall family, is held in memory of Diana Parks Marshall and her mother, Virda Parks Marshall.

During the school day, there will be a concert for students in grades seven through 12. Upper School musicians also will work with the professional musicians in chorus and instrumental workshops. That evening, in a concert open to the public, AFS music students will join Jean Rohe & The End of the World Show in a few songs, in a performance that begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Muller Auditorium. The evening show is part of the Abington Monthly Meeting’s Lighthouse Coffeehouse Concert series. Tickets, which will be sold at the door, are a suggested price of $15 per person, $25 per family.
