We’re pleased to announce that AFS is the presenting sponsor for a major exhibit at the Academy of Natural Sciences, featuring a dozen full-bodied, life-size animatronic dinosaurs. That means they roar and move and otherwise make you feel like they are actually living among us.

The exhibit of scientifically accurate dinos — down to the feathers on Big T. rex —opened this summer and will continue through January 16, 2017. The display, “Dinosaurs Unearthed,” also includes fossils, interactive displays and other activities to encourage hands-on exploration.

This expansion of a longstanding partnership between AFS and the Academy was made possible with help from a friend of AFS. Stay tuned for more news — coming soon — about a fun event at the Academy for the AFS community this fall.
