About the Program: Middle School Boys Basketball at Abington Friends School offers an opportunity for 5th-8th grade students of all experience and skill levels to participate in the interscholastic basketball program. Older and more experienced players comprise an “A Team” roster while younger and less experienced players play on the “B Team.” There are, however, no grade restrictions on A & B team participation as coaches make every effort to assign students to a team level that offers them the best chance for success. Both teams play a 10-14 game schedule against similarly skilled local opponents during the winter season between the beginning of December and the middle of February. AFS Middle School Boys Basketball practices 4 times per week between 2:50-4:00pm.
