What’s my class doing?
Despite our greatest hopes of bringing our alumni community together in person this fall for our annual Alumni Weekend on October 1 and 2, we have made the difficult decision to forgo a reunion program this year.
Due to the rise of the Delta variant both in our region and in areas from which our alumni would be traveling to campus, coupled with related concerns shared by members of our milestone reunion classes, we reluctantly will not hold Alumni Weekend this fall.
We already have begun the process of creating meaningful forms of engagement with you, our Alumni community, throughout the upcoming year, as well as reimagining alumni events in the future. In the short term, if conditions allow, our hope is to move the interactive and fun Lifelong Learning sessions to Homecoming on Wednesday, November 24.
Later this fall, get ready to join your fellow alumni on AFSconnects, a new platform unique to AFS where you can easily interact with each other and stay connected to AFS.
We appreciate your understanding as we navigate these times and envision new ways to keep AFS connections strong.
