College guidance at AFS is based on a philosophy of finding colleges that match each student’s goals. Beginning in the junior year, students (and parents) receive individually tailored guidance that seeks to clarify qualities the students seek in the college experience, recommends appropriate colleges to explore, and supports students through the application process. While the college list at AFS boasts acceptances at prestigious institutions throughout the United States and abroad, our success is measured not by Ivy League acceptances, but by the percentage of seniors who are accepted to their top-choice schools.
