Because we take our students and their emerging interests seriously, they in turn learn to take charge of their education, advocating for themselves and pulling in the resources they need. A wide range of extracurricular activities, many of them student driven, expands our Middle and Upper Schoolers’ educational lives.

In Middle School the slate of lunchtime activities includes electronic music ensemble, literary magazine, Math Counts, jazz band, blogging and Student Council. Faculty and students in Upper School share their expertise, interests and talents with each other through activity clubs ranging from Astronomy to a student led news show to Improv Comedy to Debate to a Jewish Student Affinity Group.
